“In 2014, Jared Schwartz, along with cohort Kade Gianinetti, hit the ground running when they unleashed American Grind, a yellow trailer on wheels that fed burgers to the hungry masses. Schwartz and Gianinetti, who have since retired the trailer, went on to open The Way Back, a cocktail bar and restaurant in West Highland. The duo, in conjunction with Chad Michael George, also a co-owner of The Way Back, will resurrect the burgers from the trailer on Monday, January 16 when they unveil American Grind inside Avanti Food & Beverage, the high-energy food hall in LoHi. Located on the main level, the corner space will occupy the incubator that previously housed MiJo, an Asian-inspired noodle shop.”
